The main image on the double page spread has the person of interest, this is by her facing the camera with her body facing the same direction. They have use a medium shot on her. The double page spread follows a colour scheme of mainly pink and black. the text has been wrote in columns which is typical of a magazine. The first part of the headline 'The gospel according to' is written in a bold and black font. The use of the font connotates a modern look. Niki Minaj's name is the biggest piece of text on the page which indicates to the reader the whole article will be about this particular artist. Her name is written in the colour pink which highlights her femininity and beauty and might have been used to reflect her personality. Niki Minaj is wearing a zebra patterned item of clothing which brings out her appreciation of animals which might appeal to younger audience. the use of different jewellery have a range of colours which are exciting and suggest she has an unusual style and she is independent. the lighting is bright which gives it a happy feel to the magazine and might reflect her enthusiastic personality.

This double page spread, is what i will be using for my influence of my double page spread. The idea that the image is beside the text i found was effective and makes it look very interesting. This will be inherited into my work.
