Self Assessment On The Codes And Convention Task.


Have you justified your decision on the blog? how can you improve your entries?
I have not justified my decision on why I chose the codes and conventions I did on each magazine which I was given. I also haven't chosen my reasoning for what genre of music the magazine is based on and what target audience the magazine is aimed at. To improve my entries I could add more story lines which fit in with the ethos of the magazine. I could also improve them by making sure there is a realistic pricing to the magazine.


How do you plan to use these in the future?
I will use these drafting and planning of magazines in the future by looking at what I done well which might be effective to add onto my final magazine. Also I will look at what I needed to improve on which will help me develop my editing skills in the future, which will result in my final magazine being a better version. I now know for the future to keep in mind who my target audience is and that the magazine has to stick to that target audience and also I will focus on making the story lines match the ethos and philosophy of the magazine itself.
