I made this draft of a rough front cover for magazine Vibe. I used the cover star of Rita Ora, she is an artist who offers the genre of music i have chosen for my specific magazine which is pop and r&b music. i found an image which is quite rebellious of her but her facial expression gives a completely different look; timid. Majority of females within the front page of magazines tend to be quite revealing with very little clothing. Personally i didn't want my artist to do this, this therefore will be the unique part of my magazine as not everybody does it. I had a colour scheme which consisted of a plum purple and black and white. These colours blended well and matched the image of the artist. i had the barcode present at the bottom as this isn't a feature to focus to much on. This helped me because i can see a colour scheme blended in with the conventions of a magazine and can help me develop my knowledge on these when i make my final magazine. to edit this draft magazine i used pair.net, this was to help me get familiar with the software ready for my final piece.
