The double page spread is divided into sections. the first page is dedicated to the main image of the artist the magazine is featuring, and in this case its Chipmunk. They used a big close up of his face. The layout of this magazine is unusual as normally we have the text on the first page, but this time we have the image before the text, this is important if your aiming your magazine at a younger target audience, who prefer pictures over lots of text. The mast head is on the right paige which is made to seen first to engage with the reader, the text is a simple black font which makes it more clear. the mast head uses a pun with 'champion chip'. this makes the magazine have some humour also, the mast head uses alliteration which is catchy for the younger generation. The word 'champion' has replaced its 'O' with a gold medal. this could inspire the younger target audience as they will look up to it and see it as success and might encourage them to become more successful. the picture gives it a positive tone and chipmunk looks like his focusing in both images. the colours used in this article is blue and black and gold, these colours aren't feminie which could reflect as to why the big image of the artist on the right side page, this could attract younger girls who find him attractive. i may consider using the structure of this double page spread in mine, this is because not many magazine use a whole page for an image and then text on the other side, this makes the magazine unique.
