Pink- shows feminity, Sunglasses give her a cool style, shirt wrapped around waist emphasise her passion for fashion.

Here is a draft of a front magazine using a VIBE masthead, this masthead was used because their magazines feature r&b and pop music genre which is the same as mine. Therefore they presentation of the layout of different codes and conventions was inherited into the above front cover. I used a round shape with the advertisement of '204 songs' to be downloaded. The bright pink circle was to stand out to the consumers and inspire them to go and purchase the songs but pink was chosen to make the colour scheme consistent. The text was based on white, pink and black. These are because pink shows the feline of the artist, the black shows elegance and a dominant figure and lastly white shows purity. The props used was a waist wrapped tshirt, this was because this is the fashion at this time and wanted to show a fashion role model. The sunglasses were used to make her unrevealed and to indicate to the reader they need to read further into the magazine to reveal who she is. By doing this it has developed my practice in producing front covers for music magazines and made me think about things for improvement which i can do when designing my final magazine.
