i decided to analyse another magazine featuring a major artist. This was done to help develop my understanding of codes and conventions within music magazines further. This magazine was chosen purposely as this is the branded magazine, my magazine was influenced by.

Iggy Azalea is an inspiring artist, who i have researched into her music career, her achievements and her background. Her name Iggy comes from her street name in which her friends use to call her and Azalea comes from the street she use to live on, which her parents still do. Most of her images and photo shoots which are present on magazines as well as just photo shoots to show her fashion, are generally revealing and show lots of skin with few clothing. She is a confident artist and is inspired from my artist.

This is my new and improved double page spread. The artist is in dark colour clothing to stand out in the bright background, the text is beside her and the the artists name and subtitle is below. This text is in larger and bolder text to make it clear on what the page consist of.

The image above is the contents page. there is not much information on this contents as my magazine is inspired by VIBE magazine. Vibe tend to not put alot of text within their contents page but a main image with some text along the side. it is simple, clear and easy to read.

My Front cover is completed, with a large image on the front to draw in customers, and highlight what artist is going to be starring within the magazine. My double page presents some text and another image of my artist which reinforces this particular page is about this specific artist. My contents page is still being produced, there may be another option of another photo-shoot to see if a better image can be present on the contents page.
